This website contains materials for the 6-week Data Science in R module for the UCSB-Smithsonian Scholars online course, organized by the UCSB Office of Education Partnerships and the Smithsonian Data Science Lab. The website and materials are adapted from lectures and assignments originally developed by Dr. Ethan White at the University of Florida as part of a semester long Data Carpentry style course in computing for biologists. This course is a 6-week introductory online course for teaching fundamentals of computing in R.
